Media Registrations for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023

BERLIN, December 6, 2022 – Media registrations are now open for the world’s largest inclusive sporting event, the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. Coming to Germany for the first time, the World Games, will take place in the capital city of Berlin from 17 to 25 June 2023.

Over 1,000 media and broadcasters from around the world are expected to head to Berlin next June with media registrations open from 1 December 2022 to 30 April 2023. Media representatives can apply for media credentials via the official Berlin 2023 website here: https://www.berlin2023.org/en/accreditation.

The Games will be the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event taking place in 2023, and the biggest multi-sport event in Berlin in decades. The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 will feature more than 7,000 Special Olympics athletes from over 190 countries who will compete in 26 Olympic-type summer sports across nine days of exciting and inspiring competitions, by athletes and for athletes.
